Agreement to Terms
By creating an account or using the Ignite Coaching application and website (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
Description of Service
Ignite Coaching is a platform that connects coaches with their clients. The Service enables task management, messaging, and optional AI-powered features to support coaching relationships.
Important: Ignite Coaching is a technology platform, not a coaching provider.
- We do not employ, endorse, or certify any coach on the platform.
- Coaches are independent users who are solely responsible for the coaching services they provide.
- Coaching provided through the platform is not a substitute for professional medical, mental health, or therapeutic services.
- We do not verify coach credentials, certifications, or qualifications.
Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe are being used for fraudulent or harmful purposes.
User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Misrepresent your qualifications, credentials, or identity
- Use the Service to provide medical, mental health, or therapeutic advice unless appropriately licensed
- Send harassing, abusive, threatening, or inappropriate messages
- Upload content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes on others' rights
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
- Use the Service for any purpose that violates applicable law
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
Content and Intellectual Property
Your Content
You retain ownership of content you create on the Service (tasks, messages, files, profile information). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content as necessary to provide the Service. This license ends when you delete your content or your account.
AI-Processed Content
If you connect your Zoom account, you consent to having meeting transcripts processed by AI to extract task suggestions. You are responsible for ensuring that all participants in your Zoom meetings are aware of and consent to recording and AI processing. Task suggestions generated from transcripts are provided as suggestions only and should be reviewed before use.
Our Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, code, logos, and branding, is owned by Ignite Coaching. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks or branding.
Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with third-party services including Zoom, Google, and Apple. Your use of these integrations is also subject to the respective third party's terms of service. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of third-party services.
Account Deletion
You may delete your account at any time. When you delete your account, all your data is permanently removed, including your profile, tasks, messages, files, and integration data. Account deletion cannot be undone. See our Privacy Policy for details on data deletion.
Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.
WE MAKE NO REPRESENTATIONS ABOUT THE QUALITY, SUITABILITY, OR EFFECTIVENESS OF ANY COACHING PROVIDED THROUGH THE PLATFORM. COACHING OUTCOMES DEPEND ON MANY FACTORS BEYOND OUR CONTROL.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IGNITE COACHING SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100).
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ignite Coaching from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) content you create or share on the Service; or (d) coaching services you provide or receive through the Service.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms with a new "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you should stop using the Service and delete your account.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts located in Washington.
